She's an eye-witness. But she doesn't know it...at least not yet.A Mini Mystery. After a Hollywood crime occurs in a small town, pressure sets in nationwide for answers. And detectives rely on their only lead: a teenage girl who saw the whole thing. The only obstacle is Dedra herself. Her Retrograde Amnesia* has locked her out of her own answers from her own memory. But with a medical remedy to unlock it all, detectives suffer the additional mystery of her parents refusing to give consent. And Dedra must play detective herself to find the real reason why. With her hidden yearbook, and her tricky little sister, it’s an unfamiliar race down memory lane with lots of traffic, and shortcuts of insistence from sidekicks to pranksters to worse. But as justice becomes impatient, and family demands loyalty, Dedra faces a memorable dilemma: should she move past the past, explore it fully, or "remember to forget". Table of contents:“If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything” (Mark Twain)If You TellThe TruthYou Don’t Have ToRemember Anything! *Retrograde Amnesia is a psychological inability to ever recall the past dated before the trauma which caused the amnesia. 1. "Reading Hideaway is like a mini vacation, as Roberts transports you from the sun-drenched mountains of Big Sur to the rolling hills of Ireland to the bustling streets of New York City." - Associated Press A family ranch in Big Sur country and a legacy of Hollywood royalty set the stage for Nora Roberts' emotional new suspense novel, Hideaway.Caitlyn Sullivan had come from a long line of Hollywood royalty, stretching back to her Irish immigrant great-grandfather. At nine, she was already a star-yet still an innocent child who loved to play hide and seek with her cousins at the family home in Big Sur. It was during one of those games that she disappeared. Some may have considered her a pampered princess, but Cate was in fact a smart, scrappy fighter, and she managed to escape her abductors. Dillon Cooper was shocked to find the bloodied, exhausted girl huddled in his house-but when the teenager and his family heard her story they provided refuge, reuniting her with her loved ones.Cate's ordeal, though, was far from over. First came the discovery of a shocking betrayal that would send someone she'd trusted to prison. Then there were years spent away in western Ireland, peaceful and protected but with restlessness growing in her soul. Finally, she would return to Los Angeles, gathering the courage to act again and get past the trauma that had derailed her life. What she didn't yet know was that two seeds had been planted that long-ago night-one of a great love, and one of a terrible vengeance...

Diabetic patients are known to have delayed bone and wound healing compared to normal patients. The objective of this study was to improve success rates by employing a minimally invasive implant to decrease the size of the wound and autogenous platelet rich plasma (PRP) to enhance the bone healing. This was a Non-randomized clinical trial employing a split-mouth design consisting of patients selected from the diabetic clinic at the Hospital University Sains Malaysia. Using a one-stage surgical protocol, a total of 28 Mini Drive Lock implants (Intra-lock® USA) implants with lengths of 10, 11.5, 13 and a diameter of 2.0 mm of 2.5 mm were inserted in edentulous and partially edentulous patients. This study showed no significant difference of wound healing when comparing groups of PRP and non-PRP in controlled diabetic patients. The use of minimally invasive implant procedure can help to improve the soft tissue wound healing and bone osseointegration in diabetic patients with or without PRP. In conclusion the wound healing in diabetic patients is highly dependant upon the severity of tissue trauma, therefore emphases on implant placement technique should be considered.
